The information below concerns the processing of your personal data when you register as a user on Applyvisa.um.dk. The purpose and legal basis for the processing of your data
We process your user registration data for the following purposes:
To ensure personal login and to give you access to reset your own password using two-factor authentication
To provide support regarding possible fee payments
The legal basis is:
Article 6, 1(e) in the General Data protection Regulation by which processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the exercise of official authority.
Categories of personal data
We process the following personal data when you register a user account on Applyvisa.um.dk:
Your first name(s) and family name(s), telephone number and email address
Retention of your personal data
The MFA imposes the following policy regarding deadlines for deletion of your personal data:
Your IP address will be deleted 1 month after your latest login.
Your name and email address will be kept for 5 years after your user account has been deleted in order to ensure an acceptable time frame for possible fee payment support.
Emails sent to you from Applyvisa.um.dk, e.g., when you create a user account, are deleted after 28 days.

Guide on how to delete your account
If you wish to have your user account deleted, please follow the steps below:
Click on your name at the top right corner.
Under user information, scroll down to the end of the page and click “delete account”.
Click “yes” to delete your account.
Your rights relating to our processing of your data
According to the General Data Protection Regulation you have following rights relating to our processing of your data:
Right to access: You have the right to access the personal data the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark have registered on you.
Right to rectification: You have the right to request any possible inaccuracies in your personal data corrected.
Right to erasure: You have the right to have your personal data deleted.
Right to restriction or to object: You have the right to request restriction or object to the processing of your personal data.
Right to data portability: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark handles visa applications for Denmark and represented countries. Your data cannot be transferred to another data controller.
